New news from Thailand

I recently had the privilege to visit a couple of the ministries that we send teams to in Northern Thailand. One of the ministries is Sila Home. This is a ministry that helps hill-tribe children from all over Northern Thailand with an opportunity to study. They currently have 40 children, and their aim is to help orphans, the abused, the poor and the neglected children of Thailand by providing them with a safe home, food, clothes and an education, Their hope is for each and every young person to grow in their relationship with Christ. They encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of the Christian faith and promote Christian values among the children. They also promote and cultivate life skills that will enable the children to become responsible members and leaders within their community. Sila Home also has a second project. Ruth Home is a place where girls who has been traffic into sex slavery gets taking care of. They bring them in, show them the love of Jesus and care for their need.

I had quite a few teams coming in during the last couple of weeks and it is such a pleasure to be able to teach them on evangelism, Thai culture and motivate them to dream big for God. Many of them don't have an idea what Buddhism is all about and I am so privilege to be able to freely give them the knowledge that the Lord gave to me through all the years of traveling and sharing the Gospel with Buddhists and also to give them an understanding of the mindset of the Thai's that "If you are a Thai you are a Buddhist".

We are entering the very busy season with all the teams that will be coming to Thailand and your prayers will be appreciated for effective outreach opportunities.
