Oct/Nov Newsletter

Hi everyone,

It is such a privilege for all of us to know that we are His workmanship, that He cares for all of us and that we can trust in the Lord's unfailing love, mercy and grace!

I can't believe it is about 6 weeks till the joyful Christmas season. I know you all think about holidays and spending time with your family and friends etc. but it is half true this side. We will still have a busy schedule by receiving teams from all over the world, training them and equipping them with evangelistic tools, Bibles etc. but it will also be the first Christmas in 3 years that I won't be alone because Jono and Sara will be in Chiang Mai.

Lately, I was honored to be able to partner with more local ministries and churches and link them with the Outreach department and these churches are really desperate to get teams to come and help them, especially over the Christmas season. I pray that South African churches will send teams to come on outreach to this unreached country with 1% Christians. Some of the photos are of the new ministries and the teams praying for the sick, leading Thai's to Jesus and distribute evangelistic material.

The Lord started to prompt and direct me in different ways to reach more people for His Kingdom and I started a "motorbike ministry"! Not always the most comfortable place to be at, to see the alcohol flowing freely, around some chain smokers, people that are cursing non-stop etc. but Jesus loves every one of them and wants them to have a relationship with Him. I might be the only or last person that can share the light of Jesus to them because non of us are certain of one more day on earth.

I also joined a club and there are really some great guys between them, even some who don't drink at all. Please pray that the Lord will give divine opportunities to share with all of them. I feel so excited and trust in the Holy Spirit to continue use me as a light for Him in this unreached, dark and lost world.

Jono and Sara will return to Thailand tomorrow after a month in the Himalayas. I spoke to them recently and both were coughing terribly. They had to live in rooms where there were no chimneys and people made fire inside to keep warm. I could hear that they both are exhausted but also excited for what the Lord has done on this outreach/Bible translation trip. I can't wait to hear about everything.

It is going well with the Bible and tract distribution and we are planning to print more soon. Please continua to pray for the lost people of Thailand and also that the Lord will send more and more workers so that we will be
able to reach Thailand and all unreached ethnic groups within the next 10 years.

I will love to come to South Africa early next year and will continue to trust the Lord to make it possible but I will wait in patience for His timing! Thank you for your love, care and prayers! If it wasn't for you we would not be able to even do the smallest thing for His Kingdom here. Be assure that we pray for everyone and that you are precious for us and we treasure your friendship!

Blessings
Len
