God is looking for faithful men and women, boys and girls, to represent Him in this world of sin -  Jeremiah Davis

Hi my dearest Brothers and Sisters,

It's about time for a newsletter again. I don't have many things to share but wants to update you on a couple of things and also a wonderful surprise!

Seven weeks ago, I had to undergo surgery again on my knee and this time I used a very well recognized surgeon in Thailand. He specializes on knees and shoulders and even operated on the princes of Thailand. This time all the muscles are connected and I don't have a wobble in my knee....thank you Jesus!

This is a very humbling experience as you think God must heal you the way you want Him to but then it's time to realize that you can't really grow if you don't face some challenges in a different way and these scenarios will help you to depend on God more and also grow in faith and prayer. I honestly have quite a bit of pain especially when I exercise but I can't complain as the Lord continually reminds me of all the people who don't have legs but stay positive and there are always people that are worse off than you.

I went for physio 3 times a week since the surgery and had to reduce it to twice a week as it's quite expensive. I can drive short distances but will have to keep the brace on for another month. The biggest physical challenge that I have is to bend my leg to the same degree than the other one. I can do it by force but needs to do it naturally. The muscles are not very strong yet but I can sit and stand by myself with some effort.

Honestly I see God's grace and mercy on my life and see improvement in my knee on a daily basis! My prayers are still the same as I trust Him for 3 things. Firstly, to help me to have an intimate life with Him, loving and adore Him. Secondly to be a blessing to Him and put a smile on His face by doing what is right in His eyes, not to compromise and to touch His heart by loving  and reaching out to others that do not know Him. Thirdly, to be able to accomplish His will for my life with complete health, anointing and obedience.

I am staying in Jono and Sara's little office as there is a bed and my computer in it. My place has too many stairs to my room and Jono's has none. They insists every day that I must stay and they are real blessings by assisting me with much. Jono is helping me with the Outreach department and we share the communication with all the teams that are coming. It's getting very busy now and soon it will be the busiest time of the year for us again. On the other hand, staying with them helps them too as they don't have a car anymore and are using mine. Their car gave up the ghost a few months ago and was irreparable. They do believe for another car as it is a little bit of a challenge to have one car between the 3 of us.

For those that don't know, my motorcycle is in a garage in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia that the YWAM base leader arranged for me. We got so many great testimonies back from all the people that got saved and the plan was to go back in June next year but I might have to go only in August because I got some surprising and wonderful news a few days ago. Sara is pregnant!!!!!!!!

Very few people know about this yet but Jono gave me permission to share this. They expect the baby will be born the first week of July. They will have the baby here in Chiang Mai as the US and South Africa will be too expensive. I will let Jono share with you guys the rest!

Missionary zeal does not grow out of intellectual beliefs, nor out of theological belief, nut out of love - Roland Allen

For those that did not see my Facebook page: The fastest growing church in Thailand. Over 7000 Thais accepted Jesus as their personal Savior in the last year alone and this is just the one place. 630 people were baptized on 6 October and thousands before. Please continue to pray for Thailand as it was the hardest ground for the Gospel in more than 200 years.

Well, my "short" newsletter became too long and I will keep in touch soon again. Please continue to pray for us all and especially for a fast recovery for me, for opportunities to share the Gospel and lead many to Christ and for Sara for a smooth pregnancy etc. Please let us know how you guys are doing!
